ELECTROPHILIA Under the Troll bridge 1992
After SHOCK TREATMENT was beat into rocknroll submission and always wanting to be fresh, James Kruize, Pat Learn, Phil Derrick, Mike Parker and Chad Hawkins set out one more time to be America's super band. Thinking they're still rockstars they played a ton of shows over a three year stint but fizzled out after personal problems with all the members turned it into hell. Rocknroll does'nt come easy when the band members grow apart. Eventually Pat's buddys went on to form Groovebender and the other guys formed Hammer on Rome. I have a few pictures and as I find more of my stuff I'll keep updating this site. This is Pat Learn A.K.A Pat Vasser Lead guitar at some nameless club in Seattle.

Electrophilia was able to make one decent recording. ELECTROPHILIA LIVE 1991 MP-3 and VIDEOS available only through this site and Little Mark Records.

ELECTROPHILIA with guest star Greg Brady? No it's Spencer sumthin-er-other singing - HIGHWAY TO HELL. We put an ad in the paper for a Bon Scott wannabe and this is what we got.
ELECTROPHILIA entered an MTV contest called "Highway to fame" the rules were - have your band play ACDC's Highway to hell and video tape it.The video must be a live recording and not overdubbed. (I know because I called the office of MTV myself and asked.) At the time we thought somehow AC really had something to do with this shabang. I don't think they had a clue. To conclude the story some shit band won using overdubs and Hollywood movie cuts. Here it is the original contest recording of H. T. H. by Electrophilia. Also recorded on that session were "FEAR" and "NO WAY" featured on our jukebox.
